The name of the exposition deduces from Julius Caesar’s « Commentarii de Bello Gallico », in which he describes the belge (belgae) as the bravest of all galliers: « horum Fortissimi omnium sunt Belgae ». Gallery Vanessa Quang in collaboration with the Belgium curator Dagmar de Poorter organized the exhibition with the objective to revel the new Belgium art. The concept of the exhibition is based on the commemoration of 180 years of Belgium art. It was an occasion to make this great event an up-to-date exhibition with emerging Belgian artists. This exhibition presents two young Belgian artists which capture the spirit of the time and invite to a joyful journey through the gallery.
